MESSAGE FROM DAVE FORDE
The fact that Toronto is home to over 3,000 technology companies tends to surprise many people – locals and visitors alike. Our story, the one about a thriving, vibrant GTA technology industry has never really been told on a global scale. Nor has it been shared here at home as many people do not know about some of the successful, growing companies such as Freshbooks.com, Octopz.com or First Coverage.
Part of my vision for TorontoTechWeek is to create an opportunity where the many stories are told, and over the week people will get together for business development, education, networking and showcase. The team has put together what will be a great second annual TorontoTechWeek with over 80 speakers from across North America. In addition, a number of industry associations and groups will also be hosting events.
I am excited about the depth and breadth of the program and the value it will to provide to participants. Our goal is for delegates to leave the week inspired with new ideas, contacts, and with practical learnings they can readily apply to their business and their careers. So book early to avoid disappointment.
