It has been great to watch Toronto Tech Week grow over the years. It was a simple idea that I came up with and for the last 2 years has turned to an event that annually attracts just under 1,000 from Toronto as well as Germany, Mexico, Brazil and the United States.
Many people don’t even realize that Toronto is the 3rd largest technology cluster in North America and part of my vision is to create an annual event that brings the community together to share our successes with the world. Over these last 2 years we have worked with the local associations and groups as they have hosted events that were part of the week such as The Toronto Board of Trade, mesh, CIPS, ITAC and YTA (to name a few). We will continue to work with them and any group who believes and understands the value of industry wide collaboration. After all, when we grow as an industry it can only benefit all the players in it right…
